About
Building clarity where complexity, ambiguity, and people meet.
Brendan Cahoon is a technology and go-to-market leader who has spent his career building teams, solving messy problems, and helping organizations operate more clearly. His work has spanned technical sales, customer adoption, operational systems, and the practical use of emerging technology, including GenAI. He is most energized by building and leading teams, and by environments that require judgment, structure, and steady execution rather than theater.
At the core of Brendan's professional life is a simple belief: winning as a team is the greatest feeling in the world. More than individual recognition, he is motivated by building groups that trust each other, solve hard problems together, and perform at a high level when it matters. He cares deeply about team design, role clarity, accountability, and creating cultures where strong people can do strong work together. He also loves problem solving, especially when the problem is human. Strategy can be mapped and systems can be built, but aligning people, building trust, and helping teams move in the same direction is usually the hardest work.
Brendan lives on the South Shore of Massachusetts with his wife, Rachel, and their three daughters. Family sits at the center of his life and keeps his ambition tied to something real. He is also Treasurer and a coach for girls basketball in Norwell. Outside of work, he is passionate about building things, skiing, basketball, food and cooking, and systems thinking. BMCHQ is a place to bring those threads together through selected work and ideas.
